Mountain Biking has had a strong level of support from the days of Justin Leov who was a national champion.
In 2016, MBC was the champion team at the national secondary schools championships in Dunedin. In 2018 and 2019, MBC was second in the SISS MTB championships.
The TIC of MBC Mountain Biking is Paul Molyneux.

Competition shirts are supplied, all other equipment must be provided by participants.
