New Zealand Short Course Swimming Championships - Results from MBC Students
Jack Love, Finn McNabb, Max Skehan and Quinn Verran had five days of fantastic racing at the New Zealand Short Course Swimming Championships in Auckland last week.
Jack Love produced an outstanding gold medal swim in the 400m Individual Medley to take the national title for 17-18 Men. He also won silver for both the 400m freestyle and 200m Butterfly. Jack was 8th for 200 Individual Medley and 13th for 100m Backstroke.
Quinn Verran (13 year old group) stepped up to the high pressure environment and did personal bests in all his races. He got 11th in his 200m backstroke race as well as 13th for 100m backstroke both with massive 5 second improvements.
Max Skehan competed in the 16 Year old age group. Max's strengths are Freestyle and Backstroke. He had three personal best swims and was 13th in 200m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke and 100 Freestyle.
Finn McNabb also competed in the 16 year old age group. Finn specializes in Backstroke and Individual Medley races. He did three personal best swims and was 13th for the 100m Backstroke and 16th 400m Individual Medley.
